This coverage contains ecological provinces for the United States portion of the Columbia River Basin. The base version of this coverage was obtained from Streamnet in 1999. This version is the result of three major revisions by the Northwest Habitat Institute in cooperation with the Northwest Power Planning Council and the Bonneville Power Administration. These ecological provinces align with the current version of the Columbia River Basin 6th Order HUCs coverage.
Purpose:
Created for the Northwest Power Planning Council's (NWPPC) Fish and Wildlife 2000 program.
